Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons opened up to the media about his relationship with boyfriend Todd Spiewalk. Describing his ten-year old relationship as ‘boring’ and ‘average’, he appeared to be content when posing for pictures with his boyfriend. He is one of the many famous gay celebrities to have recently come out.
He recently received an award from gay and lesbian support network GLESN at the GLESN Respect Awards. Jim Parsons and boyfriend Todd Spiewalk arrived at the awards ceremony together, beaming proudly at the many cameras.
According to the actor, Jim Parsons and Todd Spiewalk spend their days getting ‘coffee in the morning, going to work, washing the clothes, taking the dogs out’.
Parsons told reporters that he was shocked that he received the award as he said that he wasn’t an activist, but walked around with boyfriend merely as an ‘act of love’.
Jim Parsons receiving the award is a source of pride for many gay people as Parsons has a large amount of gay fans. Many of his gay fans are hoping that Parsons and his boyfriend will be the latest celebrities to join the gay marriage wagon, as the United States has recently gained more gay marriage legal victories.
