Jodie Foster: ‘I did my Coming Out a Thousand Years Ago’

Jodie Foster: ‘I did my Coming Out a Thousand Years Ago’

Jodie Foster is one of many famous gay celebrities in Hollywood. This popular actress has unfortunately been under media scrutiny for years for being suspected of being a closeted lesbian. The actress decided to make it official when she accepted an award for lifetime achievement at the 70th year of the Annual Golden Globes award ceremony.

Jodie Foster acknowledged her gay lifestyle as she spoke at the podium. She acknowledged her former lover Cydney Bernard, calling her a ‘former lover but righteous soul sister in life’. With Cydney, Jodie has two boys, Charlie and Kit. The actress claimed in her speech that she came out a ‘thousand years ago’ to close friends and family when she was a child, but didn’t make her sexual orientation public to the media until recently.

For those that are googling ‘Jodie Foster gay partner’, Jodie has no other girlfriend as of late. Although she split from Bernard in 2008, she still maintains a close and harmonious relationship with her former lover. The Jodie Foster gay speech at the recent Golden Globes award ceremony is considered to be another victory for the gay and lesbian community, who claim that they are fighting a battle against opponents for more homosexual rights.
