Jesse Tyler Ferguson, star of “Modern Family” got married to his boyfriend Justin Mikita last Saturday. The gay marriage took place in New York City and was attended by other stars of Modern Family like Eric Stonestreet, Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell. Other guests included “Top Chef” star Padma Lakshmi, X-men actress Rebecca Romijn and Mary Murphy, Cat Deeley and Tyce Diorio of “So you think you can Dance”. The couple got engaged last year while they were on a trip in Mexico and they have been together for about two years now. Right after the wedding, Jesse Tyler Ferguson tweeted expressing how happy he was about it and that he had never been happier in his life! The wedding was officiated by Tony Kushner, screenwriter and playwright.
Ferguson, 37 and Mikita, 27, who along with being Jesse Tyler Ferguson boyfriend is also an attorney, were seen heading for brunch right on the day after their wedding took place. They were seen proudly showed off their new wedding bands. Both of them were similarly dressed in sunglasses, casual t-shirts and Bermudas. And it is needless to say that they have never looked happier and so much in love with each other! We wish this famous gay couple a very happy married life!
