Talk about being open and courageous! Who would have ever thought of coming out of the closet at an Internet video Q and A session! And the star in question is only 19 years old. Who is this brave young lad we are talking about? It is none other than Nickelodeon star, Lucas Cruikshank who didn’t bat an eyelid when he was asked the dreaded question ”are you gay”?
It all happened so suddenly in the Internet video that many of his fans probably didn’t even know whether to take it seriously. Cruikshank and his best friend and co-star, Jennifer Veal, were answering questions by fans when they stumbled upon the question ”are you gay”? She let out a squeal of laughter and looked at Cruikshank for an answer, who replied very casually that he was indeed gay! And then both of them started laughing together!
Now what do we say to this boy who has suddenly become one of the famous gay celebrities? There was no speech, no tears and definitely no melodrama. It was just a plain simple confession of his sexuality and that too in such a casual way. We definitely wish that more gay people were as courageous and as humorous about their gay life as Lucas Cruikshank is.
